Enjoy an early morning explorer experience on a canoe trip with Rogers to see the rare shoebill stork in the Mabamba Swamp. We can arrange transport to Banga Beach 2km away where Rogers will meet you with his canoe. A 30 minute ride across the bay takes you to the landing site where you transfer to small canoes that are able to negotiate the narrow channels in the swamp. There are nine shoebills in residence and the guides keep track of their whereabouts to almost guarantee a sighting during your visit.

Upon returning to the landing site you will return with Rogers who can phone ahead to advise us of your arrival time at Banga Beach should you wish us to provide transport back to Pineapple or elsewhere in Entebbe.
