Goretti’s Pizzeria and Bar has been a long-term favourite of ours. When we lived on the northeast side of Kampala and had an evening flight to catch, we would leave home in the afternoon, avoid the rush hour traffic, and head to Goretti’s for our evening meal enjoying our last view of the lake and the warm evening air. On a Friday, there would often be a live band with dancers. Goretti’s still has the same friendly atmosphere and freshly cooked meals of pizza, fish, pasta, and curries.

Faze 3 is a large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating on a balcony with a view of the lake. There is an extensive menu with good curries.

The Rolex Guy has taken the Ugandan street food “rolex” (rolled chapati with eggs) to a new level literally, in a colourful first-floor restaurant with pallet furniture. Rollex are served with a choice of several fillings, side dishes and freshly made smoothies by friendly staff. Burgers and hotdogs are also available.
